Muruganandam (born 09 Jan 1972), credited mononymously as Muruganandam, is an Indian Tamil filmmaker who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. He made his debut as a director in the film Murugaatrupadai (2014).
Muruganandam films typically deal with the contemporary social issues and vigilante themes. He is one of the lowest paid, and innovative film directors of India

Early life
Muruganandam an engineering student who is son of a great industrialist of Chennai . he used to go collage by collage bus only . while travelling , he happened to see the students of government, arts.collage ,full of mirth and fun, where as his collage bus travel is mournful. He hankered and travelers in government bus where in he got a good friend name of karuippu accidently, the usual hardness and repulsive attitude blower two collages disappeared and love alone dominated therein.Mean while murugan’s father , the endues frailest . met an atrocity by a swindlers team murugan along with his friends solve his father problem to and lead a quiet and happy life...==Career==
1995s to 2012s
Muruganadam began his career as an assistant to film Production Executive like ThamizhachiPoomani,Sethu,Amarkalam,Parthen Rasithen,Shree,Jay Jay,Alauddin,Vasool Raja MBBS,Attagasam,One Two Three (Hindi),Odipolama,chutti chathan,Nethaji,Tha,Thambi Vettothi Sundaram,Paagan,Nethaji,Nethaji.
In 1996, he made his Production Executive through Thamizhachi. Starring Napoleon in the lead role, the film was made with a higher budget in Tamil cinema during that time, won positive response and became a blockbuster. Deva, the film's music composer continued to work with Ashokan in his following 6 directorial ventures.
His second film Poomani, a romantic-action film was released in the following year, had Murali in the lead role. In 1996, Following Poomani, Muruganadam began work on Nethaji, which released in 1996 and became the most expensive film in Indian cinema at that time . Upon release, it became one of the highest grossing Tamil films of the 1990s. He made his production debut through Sethu (1999). Vikram joined the project.
