This article Involves gender-based violence, and how it is very well known in South Africa. There's a set of studies taking place, one of them being “One Man Can,” that Sonke provides. This article gives many statistics on the gender-based violence taking place in South Africa and it also gives insight into Sonke being an organization that advocates for the men who are the victims and the impact it has on women.
