Robert Hubbard (born August 11, 1944) is the business owner of "Hubbard Ranch Supply" in Piedmont, Oklahoma.


History

Hubbard was born in Texas. As a young adult he attended Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma and received a BA in 1968. Since then he has worked in several fields, serving as a contractor of residential and commercial construction, former Regional Director of the Nazarene Federal Credit Union , and original administrator of World Market Centers.

Hubbard has two children, as well as three grandchildren. He has been married to his wife, Carol Hubbard, for 44 years. Carol is a former Special District Judge of Oklahoma County, graduate of Oklahoma City University School of Law, and has formerly taught and at University of Oklahoma.

Gubernatorial Campaign 2010

Incumbent Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry is unable to seek reelecction in the 2010 campaign due to term limits outlined in the Oklahoma Constitution. During Henry's time as Governor the Republicans have taken control of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and Oklahoman Senate.
