The Journal of Business Forecasting (JBF) is a quarterly journal about business forecasting that has been published by the Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning since 2005.[1][2]

History

JBF started publication in Spring 1982, and since then, has published quarterly, in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.[3] As of June 28, 2014, it has published 33 volumes and 303 articles.[2]

Accessibility

There are three ways of accessing JBF articles:

  • JBF articles can be purchased from their website at a price of $10 per online article or $25 for a print copy of a full issue.[4]
  • Anybody can subscribe to the journal at a cost of $95/year (domestic in the US), $120/year (foreign), or $55/year (PDF only). For each of the options, subscribing for two years works out to a lower cost per year.[5]
  • Members of the Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF) get a free subscription to JBF while they are members. The annual membership fee is $250 for domestic members and $300 for international members, with lower fees per year for people who select two-year memberships.[6]
