Finishing position in stage races
Your comment on my talk pages suggests a distinct lack of understanding of the nature of stage racing. If a cyclist is not his team leader with ambitions for the General classification, or even if he is and the peloton finishes in a bunch such that his finishing position makes no difference to his time, Armstrong/Landis/any other rider who is not a sprinter contesting the finish, is entirely non-plsussed about what position in the field he finishes in. - Simply being a fact does not make something of encyclopaedic relevance. Kevin McE (talk) 10:26, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
