Lillian (film)

Hi. Thanks for your edits to Lillian (film). Please note that you can't use IMDB as a source to cite content, per WP:CITEIMDB. Please also see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Film#Accolades - only add awards that have their own articles. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 11:20, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. Please do not add awards when they don't have an article, for example the Orenburg International Film Festival. This is explained at Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Film#Accolades. Please can you reply here to state you have read and understood this. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:14, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, first of all, many thanks for your help and taking the time to get in touch! I wanted to reply before, but didn't know how. Hope this works now (via "edit" this page?) ... I did read the Accolades guidelines as you suggested. It says "Awards included should have a Wikipedia article to demonstrate notability." I did not read this as a "must". The thing is: all the awards I included are regarded as major or at least important awards by the industry. IMDb has strict guidelines for publishing these things. I was under the impression that if they are listed on IMDb this fact alone would demonstrate notability. I totally get for example that web-only entities, etc. should not be included, but I think we're talking about something different here. I think at least the Orenburg and Dumbo Film Festivals would deserve to be included. But that's just my opinion. Cheers!
