Wiki as Legit Source

Am wondering what more can be done either with standards and process, or marketing to improve Wiki's reputation as an info source. Schools ban it as a citation source; people scoff when using it as a citation source when debating a topic. Granted there is lots on Wiki that is nonsense, conjecture, and opinion but there is also a lot of useful and accurate info. Barkway (talk) 13:46, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
