I believe you misunderstood the reason why I reverted your edit to Newspaper endorsements in the United States presidential primaries, 2016. This article is about endorsements in the primary elections, not the general election. An endorsement dated October 18, 2016 is not very likely to have been an endorsement in a primary election, as the primaries were all completed before the conventions. I'm sure when your realize this, you will self-revert your edit which reverted my revert. On the other hand, if this was in fact a primary election endorsement, please discuss it here. Thanks, and happy editing! YBG (talk) 22:50, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- Understood, and that makes sense. My revert was based on the stated reason, which said 'this is an article, not an endorsement'. I'll move it to the appropriate place. brianfreud 18:02, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you. Yes, I read your edit summary which gave the reason you reverted, and I was pretty sure that you either hadn't read my edit summary or else I hadn't made my edit summary clear enough. I've been in that same place myself and have had to WP:SLAP myself on more than one occasion. Cheers, and happy editing. YBG (talk) 08:18, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
