Regarding Edward Jenner

Hello! Because of your recent edits, and the edits of an IP-based user, I'll assume that you are the person behind 89.244.122.24. In that case, welcome to Wikipedia!

I've recently noticed that you made some changes on the Edward Jenner page, notably that you removed a section of text, then changed a portion of it once I reverted the removal.

First, I'd like to note that you should, as much as possible, explain why you made a change (even more so on why you removed a paragraph) in the edit summary. This helps other editors find out why you removed that part of the page. I reverted the removal of a paragraph on the first section of Edward Jenner's page because of this, though you did provide an explanation on my talk page and also instead changed some parts of the article, so there's no issue there.

Next, I'd like to address some changes made after reverting that section. Namely, you've modified his page to mention that he was the "father of vaccination" instead of immunology. Though Jenner was the father of vaccination, he is often referred to as the father of immunology since he started the discussion and documentation of the process of vaccination, a vital part of immunology. Though there are humans who discovered the concept of immunology earlier, he is widely regarded as such due to the studies published by him which were large contributions to the field of immunology.

I've changed that remark to make it standard with other biographies of Edward Jenner, but I've left the rest of your changes untouched. If you wish to return it back to "vaccination", please use the talk page of that article instead. If you have any comments, you can simply reply by editing the content of this section.

Again, welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you enjoy your stay!
