User:Czarking0 thank you for reviewing the submission. Are state legislators no longer considered Wikipedia notable? FloridaArmy (talk) 22:13, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
According to WP:NSUBPOL I am mistaken. If you resubmit (and then reply here) I will approve. However, I stand by comments about the sources being insufficient for a more general sense of quality. Czarking0 (talk) 22:17, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
Thanks User:Czarking0. Indeed Wikipedia has carved out notability spheres for politicians, athletes, National register buildings, and other areas were the usual notability and sourcing requirements don't have to be met. I think most state office holders receive some coverage and it's in the interest of completeness that we record what we can about them. I am resubmitting. Take care. FloridaArmy (talk) 23:18, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
I appreciate that. I knew about WP:POLITICIAN but I did not know it applied to state legislators Czarking0 (talk) 00:14, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
