Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User:Justcgi has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. You cannot claim you are banned on your user page if you are not; it is confusing to other users. Am i allowed to put said template on my profile if i explicitly say its a joke Justcgi (talk) 14:38, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, when you put that template up, your information is included in a banned user category so it might not be obvious to people that it was a joke. It also might be seen, whether intended or not, as a method of evading scrutiny. While it may seem funny, it just causes too many issues and will make you look like a less constructive editor. This will ultimately lessen your reputation and put you at risk of really being blocked. --Thebirdlover (talk) 00:35, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
