TJV, you have to correct numbers if changing Overall vs Stage in infobox. --PetarM (talk) 10:12, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If Stage is won you incrase Stage races stages +1... etc etc. I corrected it in Jumbo seasson 2019.--PetarM (talk) 19:39, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First i saw Stage was won, then Overall was actually.

Right, yeah now I understand, I fixed from stage 3 win to overall and forgot to alter it in infobox. Thanks

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Team Jumbo–Visma Academy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bianchi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rick Pluimers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Owen Geleijn. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Celestina007 (talk) 17:43, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Choe Hyeong-min, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 2019 Asian Cycling Championships (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Why

Why did you nominate Hermann Keller for deletion? He has won multiple UCI races and is far more notable than many pages you have created on here, such as the many amateur Dutch cyclists such as Danny van der Tuuk and Olav Kooij, which have zero claims to notability. If I'm wrong, which I may be, and Keller does not meet the guidelines then I will nominate these Dutch cyclists also, as they definitely do not.--Seacactus 13 (talk) 19:48, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I had Pages deleted for failing the guidelines, and I now strictly follow them. Both Olav and Danny have won races or stages ranked .1 which is the only reason for their creation. Hermann did indeed achieve more, but not any of them are notable according to WP:NCYC. If the page turns out to stay, fair enough! LegofanCy (talk) 20:11, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update: just checked Danny and Olav, they are in fact Junior races, despite stating 2.1 or 1.1 on pcs. You're right, so those pages should be correctly be considered to be deleted. LegofanCy (talk) 20:17, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's understandable, that 1.1 thing on there for juniors is confusing. I think we should update the guidelines, they are a bit strict I feel. Plenty of very well-known cyclists technically don't meet the current standards.--Seacactus 13 (talk) 04:14, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I completely agree. See my message on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Owen Geleijn. Hidde van veenendaal for example is literally Paris Roubaix Jr winner among other achievements, yet he isn't considered notable. If it was up to me neither Hermann or my pages should be or should have been deleted. LegofanCy (talk) 05:16, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, me too. I think we should start to just not nominate them for now and just ignore the archaic guidelines, because no on else really enforces them much anymore. --Seacactus 13 (talk) 22:37, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You got yourself a deal! LegofanCy (talk) 22:53, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Olav Kooij

Hi, I'm the guy that create the second Olav Kooij article. Today he comeback to the winning ways. Hope soon, the editors let you create for third time the article. Greetings cycling pal! Sebas1953 (talk) 15:09, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. Correct, Olav is going to be the next Groenewegen by the looks of it, Dylan literally teaches him how to do this, can't wait for his first .1 win! LegofanCy (talk) 06:02, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Olav Kooij

Hello, LegofanCy,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Olav Kooij, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hello John. I firstly created Olav Kooij in the start of the year but was understandably deleted for failing notability. This rider however yesterday signed with a World Tour team. Every WT Rider is entitled to have their own page mo matter the results. This is the exact same case as Gijs Leemreize. Hope you understand. Thank you. An article you recently created, 2021 national road cycling championships, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
