Creating new articles

Creating new articles from a blank start is one of the harder tasks on Wikipedia. In future I urge you to use the Article Wizard to create a draft under the Articles for Creation project. There, an experienced editor will review your draft once you think it is ready. Only when a reviewer approves will the draft be moved to the main article space. This avoids the situation where a deletion is requested soon after the initial version of an article is posted. Also, please read Wikipedia's Golden Rule and Your First Article, if you have not already done so. The advice there can be very helpful, in my view. DES (talk) 20:29, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not write about yourself

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Promotional editing

IN this edit you restored some very promotional content that had previously been removed or changed to be more acceptable. I have reverted this change. If you want to ensure that the draft you have created is deleted, try restoring this content again and see what happens. I have tried to help you get the draft to an acceptable stage, ignoring the guideline discouraging autobiographies. If you don't want my assistance, feel free to proceed on your own. You will find that blatantly promotional content will simply not be accepted here. I won't edit this draft any further unless you request my assistance. Nor will i delete it, but others might. It is your choice. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 02:43, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Nick Quested, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
