Regarding edits made during November 2 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 22:46, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is not advertising. It's a link for the show that has useful information. I do not own the site nor control it.

It doesnt matter - its a non notable website. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 22:49, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but nowhere in that spam policy does it say that. This site is linked on IMDB, and is well known among fans. Just because you deem it non-notable does not necessarily mean it isn't. I don't mean to step on your toes, but it seems like you are arbitrarily deciding what is important and what isn't.

Getting a link on IMDb does not make you notable as it is very easy to get a link on IMDb.. please read WP:EL .. we dont include a link to every forum with wait for it.. a whole sixty users, 'mazing or what thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 22:54, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen links for a lot less than that. This show has a small following and I thought it useful to add in information that might be of use to people. I had no ulterior motive behind it. I'm not sure who you are or what your role is on Wikipedia, but I don't mean to deface this article.

My primary concern with that link (I personally would not mind it if it didnt do this..) but it offers episodes to download.. which while I expect the website owner has good intentions violates US Copyright law.. Wikipedia is in the top 20 msot visited sites on the internet.. you can understand the implications of wikipedia linking to something which is not "legit" thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 23:00, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I see your point. I apologise for that, I didn't really pay much attention to that part. My bad.

Hi...please note that the article Feist is a disambiguation page, not an article about the Canadian singer. You need to link directly to Leslie Feist and use pipetext ([[Leslie Feist|Feist]]) when the singer is what you intend to link to. Thanks. Bearcat 03:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
