"In the video games, Chansey was not used by any trainer until Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen; even then, only four trainers used it, and one of them was the gym leader Norman. In Silver, Crystal and Gold, you take Female Chansey and Male Pikachu, and the daycare will give you an egg. It will hatch a yellow Chansey." Just curious if what is in bold is actually true.

That is false, by the way. A shiny Chansey is cream-like colored, with a greenish tinge on its ears. And also, there is a trainer in Champion Road who uses a Chansey. It might only be on the Japanese green version, though. Squareenix 21:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If I could actually catch a Chansey, I would try it out. What strikes me about that paragraph is that it claims that Norman has a Chansey. Norman isn't even in FR/LG! Sonic Mew | talk to me 17:45, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, right...Emerald! I'm going to remove the bold text. If someone can cite a source, then feel free to put it back in. Sonic Mew | talk to me 17:49, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Leaked TCG Image"

I somehow doubt that an official image depicting a pre-evolved Chansey has been leaked out on a trading card, 'specially because there's no link to it, and if there is an image it's probably fake. So someone should take that info out of there if a link to the evidence doesnt show up. Erik the Appreciator 20:36, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

nihongo

...is there a reason to keep me from putting "Lucky" into the nihongo template, HighwayCello? You've got the Romanization in the kanji/kana field, anyway. urutapu 22:28, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lucky isn't meant to be there. Lucky is the romanization, nothing to do with the Jp name or the Jp spelling. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 22:34, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it's just...you don't seem to do anything about the other three hundred pages. Just Torchic and Chansey, it seems. urutapu 22:47, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've fixed Umbreon and Machop... noticed how Pikachu, Bulbasaur and others have the actual Japanese name opposed to the romanization (which is not what that section is for.) The romanization is pointless, we want to know what it's called in Japanese, not what the Japanese translates to. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 23:07, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nurse joy's treatment of chansey

When Chansey works for Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy treats Chansey like a slave, doesn't she?

Only because they aren't paid for their work and Nurse Joy "owns" them.--67.87.66.127 23:27, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, heh...owns. -- Lord Crayak

Not "Own" as in "to be soundly defeated"! I meant "own" as in the old sense of the word.67.87.66.127 21:16, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

How do you propose merging an article into another? I don't think a single Pokemon deserves its own wikipedia page if they don't all have one. It just seems pointless. Stjimmy61892 (talk) 23:35, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That is not how Wikipedia works. Chansey, like 40 of the other Pokemon with split articles, has significant coverage in third party reliable sources, which makes it notable enough for a separate page. Blake (Talk·Edits) 00:15, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
