Hi Watchdevil. I appreciate the thanks you've been sending on the changes I've been making to the Ford Fairmont page. Endashes
Hi Watchdevil. Could you please let me know why it is important to use endashes instead of normal dashes? Please understand that I am trying to remember to use endashes, but sometimes a dash accidentally slips in, just out of habit. Cheers, 1292simon (talk) 07:23, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
Using the endashes are part of Wikipedia guidelines for listing from–to model years. I cannot find the specific article about it at the moment as these things always get buried under layers and layers of information. Best advice is to follow the style of the good articles and read up on guidelines for automobile pages. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Automobiles Watchdevil (talk) 15:02, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
