Was previously nominated for MFD, but was kept because the user was not notified with specific concerns. I notified the user but he hasn't responded. I outlined the concerns below:

  1. "Wikipedians have their own user pages, but they may be used only to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia." (from WP:NOTWEBHOST)
    • In particular, I do not see how having an entire page devoted to details of a Youtube video channel is relevant to editing Wikipedia. A link to the channel page would be less egregious, but a full page on all the videos available is certainly too much.
  2. "Examples of unrelated content include:...(2) Extensive discussion not related to Wikipedia... (7) Extensive self-promotional material that is unrelated to your activities as a Wikipedian" (from WP:UP#NOT)
    • Having a page on a Youtube channel that you own is definitely self-promotion in every sense. Again, just having a link would be less egregious.
  3. "However, if you know that an external Web site is carrying a work in violation of the creator's copyright, do not link to that copy of the work." (from WP:LINKVIO)
    • From looking at the listing of videos, it is clear that you have uploaded most of these copyrighted videos without permission. Therefore, the channel page should probably not even be linked to, per Wikipedia guidelines.
  4. Also, 55 of your past 60 edits (over about 2 months) have been to your userpage. This again seems to indicate that your Wikipedia contributions are secondary to maintaining your userpage, when it should be the opposite way. RJaguar3 | u | t 02:21, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
