2024 International Women's Day Editathon | Global Open Initiative Foundation

Rules

1. Original Content: Entries must be original articles about notable women or women-related topics that do not already exist on Wikipedia.

2. Article Length: Each article should meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines and be of substantial length, typically at least two paragraphs.

3. Citations: All information presented in the articles must be properly cited with reliable sources.

4. No Plagiarism: Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. All content must be original or properly attributed.

5. Article Categories: Entries must be categorized appropriately within the Women's History or related categories on Wikipedia.

6. Deadline: Articles must be submitted before the contest deadline, which is midnight on March 10.

7. Submission Format: Articles must be submitted in the required format specified by the contest organizers.

8. Multiple Entries: Participants can submit multiple entries, but each entry must be a separate, unique article.

9. Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on accuracy, completeness, writing quality, and adherence to Wikipedia's guidelines.

10. Fair Play: Participants should refrain from engaging in any disruptive behavior or edit wars on Wikipedia.

These rules aim to ensure fair and high-quality contributions to Wikipedia during the challenge.
