Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia's Philately project. Here are some things you can do:

Updating philately articles

Out ultimate goal is to get articles to Featured status: i.e., the best on Wikipedia.

  • Add and expand information on stamps
  • Add and expand information on stamp issuers
  • Add and expand philatelic history

Photographs

We need free images, licensed under {{GFDL}}, {{PD}} (Public Domain) or {{cc-by-sa}} (Creative Commons), or copyrighted free use provided for any purposes.

  • Images of stamps
  • Images of postmarks
  • Images of the postal process

Drawings

Any drawings or diagrams relative to the study will be gladly received.

Other philately projects

  • Do you know a non-English language? You can help out by translating philately-related text. See the full list of non-English wikipedias.
  • You could also add philatelic terms to wiktionary: our sister dictionary concern
  • OR you could write philately in a simple language in the simple: English wikipedia.
  • Or you could add postal quotes to wikiquote: another sister concern.
  • OR you could help out in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Spoken Wikipedia by creating audio versions of the text.
