Опис відомчої заохочувальної відзнаки Державної прикордонної служби України - медалі «15 років сумлінної служби»

Медаль «15 років сумлінної служби» виготовляється з недорогоцінного металу білого кольору та має форму кола діаметром 32 мм.

На лицьовому боці медалі (аверсі) розміщено емблему Державної прикордонної служби України - хрест, покритий зеленою напівпрозорою емаллю, у центрі якого вміщено зображення малого Державного Герба України, який покритий синьою напівпрозорою емаллю, в обрамленні круглого вінка з дубового листя.

Усі зображення і написи рельєфні. Медаль має випуклий бортик.

Розмір прямокутної колодки до медалі - 28 х 42 мм, фігурної дужки та заокругленого виступу до колодки - 30 х 2 мм та 2 мм. На зворотному боці колодки - прорізи для прикріплення стрічки, а також застібка для кріплення медалі до одягу.

Стрічка медалі - шовкова муарова, зеленого кольору із розміщеними посередині повздовжніми смужками, зліва направо: жовта смужка - 4 мм, малинова - 2 мм, жовта - 2 мм, малинова - 2 мм, жовта - 4 мм.

За допомогою кільця медаль з'єднується з колодкою, яка виготовляється з білого металу і має вигляд прямокутної металевої пластини, обтягнутої стрічкою. У нижній частині колодки - тонка металева фігурна дужка із заокругленим виступом та отвором посередині для сполучення колодки зі знаком медалі.

Планка відзнаки - металева пластинка, обтягнута відповідною стрічкою. Розмір планки - 28 х 12 мм.
