DescriptionAnlaby Road, Kingston upon Hull (geograph 3567235).jpg
English: Anlaby Road, Kingston upon Hull. Former immigrant station, Nos.64-68 Anlaby Road, now The Tigers Lair social club, The Tigers being the nickname for Hull City A.F.C. Designed by Thomas Prosser for the North Eastern Railway Company, 1871. This building was used exclusively to handle immigrant passengers from north-west Europe to North America. They travelled by sea to Kingston upon Hull, then by train to Liverpool, where they embarked for America. For health reasons, amongst others, they were segregated from other passengers. This makes the station part of the heritage of many North Americans. Grade II Listed Building.
