"Detectives carry blue steamer trunk purportedly owned by fugitive Kenneth Ormiston and confiscated by police from a hotel in New York. Its contents were inventoried and featured in a New York Times article. Inside was filmy, perfumed garments, alleged clothing of the mysterious "Miss X", Ormiston's unidentified companion at Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
