DescriptionCefn-y-Bedd station geograph-3103541-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Cefn-y-Bedd station in 1986, with train.
View northward, towards Hawarden Bridge and Bidston: ex-GC (Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay), Seacombe - Bidston - Hawarden Bridge - Wrexham Central line. This line has, surprisingly, remained active both for passengers and freight. The train depicted is southbound from Shotton Steelworks, either with steel slabs or empty - [I'm not sure which!], double-headed by Class 37 Type 3 Diesel locomotives Nos. 37.696 and 37.241. Note the appalling state of the station shelter, with graffiti.
