Summary

Description Composite of two 18th century ink rubbings of the 1489 (left) and 1512 (right) stone inscriptions left by the Kaifeng Jews. They are featured on pp. 34 and 50 of Chinese Jews (1966) by Bishop William Charles White. These same rubbings were first published in Inscriptions juives de K'ai-fong-fou (1900) by Jerome Tobar.
