DescriptionDEMACO Pasta Extruder with Dual Mixers.jpg
English: DEMACO short goods pasta and food extruder using a dual mixing system with a small mixer feeding the main mixer. Using two mixers was done before the development of the premixer. This mixing system worked well but was hard to clean. The premixer solved those issues because it reduced the residence time required for mixing and it was easy to clean.
DEMACO built this machine for Golden Grain in the early 1960s. At the time of the photograph, the machine was at the DEMACO factory at 46-25 Metropolitan Avenue, Ridgewood, Queens.
