Summary

Description
English: A satellite view of mostly the western hemisphere of Earth. Brightness and color-balance have been manually adjusted. The colored glint in the center of the image is due to the EPIC imaging device having delays between exposures of different color bands (which are used to create a RGB composite image). During that time, the Earth rotates, causing a colorful aberration.
