English: Lieutenant Colonel David B. Moore, (right), the commanding officer of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 467, and Sgt. Maj. John M. Kennedy, the squadron sergeant major, case the units’ colors during the deactivation ceremony of HMLA-467 at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., June 16, 2016. The squadron served in numerous theaters to include supporting unit deployment programs in Japan, attaching to Marine Expeditionary Units, and providing security to ground troops during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
