English: "Hangakujo". The female warrior samurai Hangaku Gozen by Yoshitoshi (1839-1892). From the series "Yoshitoshi mushaburui: A series of warriors by Yoshitoshi." Published in "The Floating world of Ukiyo-e," essays by Sandy Kita, New York, 2001, no. 72, p. 135. Exhibited at "The Floating world of Ukiyo-e: shadows, dreams and substances," organized by the Library of Congress, 2001. Colour woodcut print, 37 x 25.3 cm. 月岡芳年 作「芳年武者无類 阪額女」。女武将の板額御前は弓の名手として知られた。
