English: This image appeared in Auburn Magazine, vol. 1, no. 1, 1922, published by the Auburn Automobile Company, Auburn, Indiana. At that time James Indus Farley was the company's vice-president and director of sales. The Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum, Auburn, Indiana, now claims ownership of the image, but the claim is probably overridden insofar as the English-language Wikipedia is concerned by the pre-1923 publication of the image in the U.S. I purchased a digitalized copy of the image from the museum on October 6, 2004, and have specific permission to use it on Wikipedia. The lack of other available images of James Indus Farley should also qualify the image for fair use in the article about Farley.
