English: Yesterday, Ambassador Mark Toner met Speaker J. Fonati Koffa at the Capitol Building in Monrovia.

During the meeting, Ambassador Toner, who previously served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Grand Bassa County, highlighted U.S. commitment to supporting Liberia’s development, particularly the aspirations of young Liberians, and to promoting transparency and accountability in Liberia.

The Ambassador arrived in Liberia on August 2, and previously met President Boakai and Foreign Minister Nyanti.
