DescriptionMicheldever station - geograph.org.uk - 1775925.jpg
English: Micheldever station The station building gives away that the station used to be more important than it is now. It is now a minor station on the London to Southampton main line and has just an hourly service. When built, in 1840, it was called Andover Road, because it serviced Andover 11 miles to the west until that town had its own railway in 1856. Now called Micheldever, after the village three miles to the south, the local name for the area around the station is Micheldever Station, to differentiate it from the village.
