They played host in 2010, to a one Open water swimming event,the British Gas Great Swim, from No 9 Basin, through the Mariners Canal to the Salford Watersports Centre in Basin 8. Water temperature 14.5C. Above 3000 participants. All doing stretch warm up exercises |
