Description

This is a Soviet S-200 'Vega', known to the west as the SA-5b with the NATO code-name 'Gammon'. It was a very long range, medium-to-high altitude surface-to-air missile (SAM) system designed in the 1960s to defend large areas from bomber attack or other strategic aircraft Currently stored being the Century of Flight hangar at the Warner Robins Museum of Aviation. Georgia, USA.
