Summary

Description Statue in Grand Circus Park of William C. Maybury (1848-1909), Mayor of Detroit, Michigan (1897-1905). Statue by Adolph Alexander Weinman (1870-1952). Statue commissioned in 1909 by the City of Detroit for $22,000. Completed April 2, 1912. Unveiled to public November 24, 1912.[1] Statue is, therefore, in the public domain.[2]
