Summary

Description
English: The Third Line, Lisburn. The third (single) line between Knockmore Jct 652587 and Lisburn 511723 finally opened in 1977. Someone noticed that it had been built without planning permission. A retrospective application followed. Permission was eventually given with the condition that a sound barrier be provided. The 11.35 Ballymena - Belfast Central is approaching the Causeway End Road bridge west of Lisburn station.
