English: USA class 0-6-0T locomotive at Eastleigh shed in February 1967. Its original Southern railway number had been 61 & it became British Railways number 30061 after nationalisation & was allocated to Southampton Docks shed. This is one of the class that later carried a 'departmental' number, in this case DS 233, when it was allocated to Redbridge Sleeper Depot. The photo was taken at about the time it was withdrawn and it is probably awaiting disposal.
