English: Original caption: 'Rebels 3-inch gun under fire, Hangkow' (i.e. during the Battle of Yangxia, 1911). Possibly not a 3-inch (76mm) gun, but may be one of 150 Gruson 57mm quick-firing (QF) pack guns, made at the Hanyang Arsenal and captured by the rebels along with 2,000 shells. The Gruson armaments works (see de:Grusonwerke) in Magdeburg, Germany, was taken over in 1893 by Krupp.
