Hang on!
[edit]This image is neither corrupt nor missing. This re-sized (that is, made smaller so it shows less detail than the original) generic calendar image is presently in use at Thai lunar calendar and Thai solar calendar for several purposes. It illustrate how common Thai solar calendars:
- Include lunar-calendar dates.
- Show lunar-calendar Month 8/8, an intercalary month that repeats Month 8.
- Mark in red Sundays and secular public holidays in Thailand.
- Mark in pink Mondays that are make-up days.
- Mark in light blue Saturdays, and observance not public holidays.
- Mark in light blue Thetsagarn Sart Chin, which also has both a red Buddha image and Chinese chop.
- Use a red Buddha image for Buddhist Sabbaths.
- Use a red Chinese chop for Thai Chinese Sabbaths.
- Mark lottery-dates.
- Mark HM the Queen's Birthday.
- It also shows a movable feast regulated by the moon that is one of the secular public holidays in Thailand. In this case, the religious observance fell on a Sunday, which is a secular day off in any case; therefore, it is followed by a purely secular observance on the contingent Monday.
