New Delhi metro station is an interchange station on the Yellow Line and the Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro. It is located adjacent to the New Delhi railway station^[2], and overlooks its Ajmeri Gate entrance.

The Airport Express also terminates at New Delhi Metro Station. Check-in facilities of airlines such as Air India are available at this station.

A skywalk connecting the station with the New Delhi railway station was opened to the public in February 2022.^[3]
