Upward communication is in the form of performance reports and recommendations initiated by the subordinates for the superiors e.g. in India , President and secretary of Gaon Panchayat along with Block Development Officer(BDO) send the performance report to their superiors upto the Prime Minister of India as well as to the planning body Neeti Aayog.
