On April 29th, 2015 a note was found written on the bathroom wall saying, "There is a bomb here." The High School was first put on Lockdown, then later evacuated to the neighboring Monroe-Woodbury Middle School. The Middle School was then put on lockdown for 20 minutes, and then continued with the normal school day. Meanwhile, the High School students were put in the gym and auditorium, while the High School was searched by K-9 units. It took 2 hours for the units to thoroughly search the school, and no bomb was found. The next day, in the Middle School, a second bomb threat was found in the bathroom. The students were then evacuated to the High School and were dismissed at the High School's normal dismissal time, the high school students were held at school for an extra hour. No bombs were found. <ref name="Bomb Threat"|url=http://westchester.news12.com/news/bomb-threat-forces-monroe-woodbury-high-school-evacuation-1.10349017
