Discovery HD replace Discovery Asia (former Discovery HD World). ==Overview== In 2005, Discovery Network Asia-Pacific launched [[Discovery HD]] (now Discovery HD World), the first high-definition channel in Asia. It became available in South Korea in February, and in Japan in December. On April 1, 2010, Discovery HD was rebranded to Discovery HD World. The service broadcast area is different from its Canadian counterpart, [[Discovery World HD]]. Back in 2002, Discovery Communications launched [[Discovery HD Theater]] in the United States. Discovery Communications also offers high-definition services to its sister channel, namely, [[Discovery Channel]], [[Animal Planet]], [[Discovery Travel and Living|TLC]], [[Discovery Science|Science Channel]] and [[Planet Green]].
