The Town is located 50&nbsp;km away from [[Nagaur]]. It is also the tehsil and block headquarters. There is the oldest temple in the district called Dadhimati Temple, also known as Goth-Manglod temple. The temple was constructed during the [[Gupta Dynasty]] in 4th Century. Dadhimati is the Kul Devi of Dadhich [[Brahimin]]s. There is a temple of Baba Ramdev and the Hanuman Mandir at the very known and the oldest place in the city called Ghamatiya Bas. Jayal is in the centre of the Rajasthan State. This place is very sound by the political point of view. There are some well known Pandits in the city viz. P. Mishrilal Purohit (Kunjal Jyotish Karyalya), P. Prem Pujari, P. Banwarilal Shastri, P. Prithviraj Purohit. This place is consist of the all cast and communities and the place is very calm. The people of Jayal are very friendly in nature and very sweet. The main business of the people is agriculture. There are many school and Government College in the city. This place is a good hub for the shopping in the festive and wedding season. A quote "Jayal Ra Jat Khiyala ka Choudhary" is very famous in the state for the Mayra which is fulfilled by the Jayal's jat communities. The City is well connected with the all the big Cities by the road. The transportation is well maintained and regularly operated by state govt. and the private operators. The cycle is 10 to 15 minutes.
