As with the [[Yakuza (video game)|original game]], most of the action takes place in [[Kamurocho]] (a.k.a. Kamuro City), a fictionalized yet realistic recreation of [[Tokyo]] [[Shinjuku]]'s [[red-light district]] [[Kabukicho]].
