<p>Joeboy released the <a href="/enwiki/wiki/Mr_Eazi" title="Mr Eazi">Mr Eazi</a>-assisted track "Faaji" as his first single; he used his portion of the grant he received from emPawa100 to shoot a video for the song.<sup id="cite_ref-Billboard_2_1-4" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-Billboard_2-1">[1]</a></sup> His follow-up single "Baby" was released on March 1, 2019, along with an animated video that surpassed 10 million views on YouTube. His next single "Beginning" garnered one million streams in its first week of release; its music video amassed 15 million views on Youtube. Joeboy released his debut extended play <i>Love & Light</i> in November 2019. It was released by emPawa Africa and was supported by the singles "Baby" and "Beginning". The EP also contains the <a href="/enwiki/wiki/Mayorkun" title="Mayorkun">Mayorkun</a>-assisted track "Don't Call Me" and "All for You".
