Mainly used by commuters, it is on the line from Blackfriars to [[Sevenoaks]], between [[Nunhead railway station|Nunhead]] and [[Catford railway station|Catford]] in [[Travelcard Zone 3]]. Connections to [[Victoria Station (London)|London Victoria]] and [[London Bridge station|London Bridge]] are available at [[Peckham Rye railway station|Peckham Rye]]. The station is not far from [[Brockley railway station]]. == Services == The typical off-peak service is: *2 trains per hour (tph) to [[Kentish Town railway station|Kentish Town]] / ([[London Victoria station|London Victoria]] late venings and on Saturdays & Sundays) calling at all stations via [[Peckham Rye railway station|Peckham Rye]] *2tph to [[Sevenoaks railway station|Sevenoaks]] via Bromley South and [[Swanley]]. Some late evening services terminate at Orpington. Service frequencies later on Sundays were enhanced to twice hourly as part of the May 2008 timetable changes. In 2007 the ticket office was closed at weekends however recently (mid 2008) the ticket office has been open on Saturdays. New level access facilities were constructed to avoid the stairs to the platform (as of 2008). There is now step-free access to platform 1 (northbound) from Marnock Road, and step-free access to platform 2 (southbound) from Lindal Road.
