Well, Muslims do that one month every year and that month is called Ramadan which is the 9th month in the Islamic calendar. What is Ramadan and what does it mean what is the purpose for fasting for 30 days and who is obligated to fast if you are at the age where you can fast it is obligated to do so. If you are a child elder or woman who is on their period they are not allowed to fast.
