When the show was canceled, Wittels started writing for [[Parks and Recreation]] where he has the title of "Executive Story Editor." His writing credits include the episodes "Media Blitz" and "94 Meetings." He is also writing for the upcoming third season of ''[[Eastbound and Down]]''.
