Though the station is in South Jordan and its surroundings to the west are now undergoing [[greenfield development]], it is also very close to [[Sandy, Utah|Sandy]]'s downtown area, and especially the [[South Towne Center]] mall, right across I-15 to the east. The destinations in Sandy are not currently accessible from the station site without detouring several blocks to the north or south, however.
