It has both Trident engine and a Webkit engine, otherwise called "Dual Display Engines.” In the browser, these two engines operate on demand, where one is the default. Trident is used for older, often Mircrosoft – compliant websites and will render some items like shopping carts and log-in pages correctly whereas WebKit often will Not. Conversely, for most modern (HTML 3+) web pages WebKit is the most effective browser at rendering the page as it is desired to look and work by the page desiger. WebKit is the default rendering engine of Maxthon 3. Additionally, Maxthon 3 has many pre-loaded features, including: *Ad Hunter *Online Favorites *Muting a the sounds from any web page page *Magic Fill – an encrypted password and login saver. *URL Safety – pre-check urls from known ‘phishing’ domains before rendering. *Video Popup/Save buttons – the ability to pop out any video embedded in a page and also save it for later viewing (including YouTube videos.) *Multi Search – A single interface that will search all major search engines at once. The user can also add and remove search engines. *Mouse Gesture – The ability to execute common browser commands (back, forward, reload, etc…) by drawing ‘gestures’ with the mouse while clicking left or right. *Super Drag & Drop – The ability to drag highlighted text and images to save and search. *Smart Address Bar – An address bar that remembers past domains and will suggest them as you type in an URL. *Private Browsing – One click way to make the web surfing activity in a specific tab anonymous. No settings or history are saved. *New Work Space Window - *Snap feature - Screen capture with simple image editing tools. *RSS Feed Reader (Beta) *Online Notepad – a notepad that allows users to name and edit notes. Maxthon will then sync them to the user’s free ‘Passport’ account, making them available for when the user logs into Maxthon Passport *Sync System (Now options & Quick Access only) *Customized skins *URL Short Key & URL Alias *Resource Sniffer – a feature that will identify the ‘true’ url of a media on a web page. *Group Feature - add all tabs to favorites/groups) *Sidebar *Spell Checker *Auto Refresh *Calendar View For History *Allowed to share Ad Hunter rules with other Maxthon users *Reader mode As of 30 June 2011, it is at version Maxthon browser (3.1.3.600.beta) ===Maxthon Mobile for Android and Tablets 1.x=== Maxthon recently announced a new version of Maxthon for Android users, which has features like: *RSS Feed Reader (Widget) *A downloader with the ability to resume *Quick-Access *Super Gestures ==See also== *List of web browsers *Comparison of web browsers ==References== 2 ==External links== *Maxthon official website *Czech Maxthon website Web browsers Aggregators ar:ماكسون (متصفح) ca:Maxthon cs:Maxthon de:Maxthon es:Maxthon fr:Maxthon ko:맥스톤 it:Maxthon he:מקסתון ka:Maxthon nl:Maxthon ja:Maxthon no:Maxthon uz:Maxthon pl:Maxthon pt:Maxthon ru:Maxthon sk:Maxthon (webový prehliadač) fi:Maxthon th:แมกซ์ทอน tr:Maxthon uk:Maxthon zh-classical:傲遊瀏覽器 wuu:傲游浏览器 yi:Maxthon zh-yue:傲遊瀏覽器 zh:傲游浏览器'
